很高興 Satir Global 於其 Satir News Flash 內介紹了我和我的工作：

We are delighted to feature the work of Ginny Wong who has worked as a registered clinical counsellor and community-based social worker for over 20 years serving immigrants and refugee claimants in Metro Vancouver , Canada.

Ginny wrote her thesis on “Incorporating the Satir Model for Chinese Immigrant Parenting Groups that Focus on Youth Psychological Adjustment.”  Her study was based on the hypothesis that when parents learn new techniques and tools related to parenting, new possibilities emerge. Ginny developed a facilitator’s guide, Building Connection—You and Your Adolescent, to teach Chinese Canadian parents effective parenting strategies and to help them set realistic expectations in order for their youth to have an easier adjustment to the new culture,  have better self-esteem, have less depressive symptoms and a more harmonious relationship with their parents.
